Southeastern University Reviews
Rating 3.95 out of 5 1,480 reviews
Rating 5 out of 5
There are three main things I really appreciate about SEU. First, the way they partner with churches in order for one to have hands on ministry training is amazing. I get to stay in Ohio and plug into my church while earning my degree online; such a gift! Second, I like my professors. I can only recount 2 professors whom I did not think were really “in the game” with their students, but all the others have been superb. Many of my professors would send videos or PowerPoint PDF’s just as an extra help to us online students! Most of my professors would send an email every week letting us know what was to come which is so helpful. Third, I love that all that I am learning is based on Biblical truth. That is my favorite part about SEU. It shows their integrity and wisdom.
Changes: I think it should be part of the students’ grade that they have a zoom call with their professor at the beginning of each new course. This ensures the Professor and student have a connection which helps greatly.

As an international student at Southeastern University, my experiences have been both enriching and challenging. The vibrant campus community welcomed me with open arms, offering a diverse cultural environment that made me feel at home despite being far from my country. I was able to participate in various student organizations and cultural events, which helped me to forge lasting friendships and learn about different cultures. The faculty and staff were incredibly supportive, providing guidance and resources to help me navigate academic and personal challenges. Although adapting to a new educational system and language was initially daunting, the inclusive and supportive atmosphere at Southeastern University made my transition smoother and more rewarding. Southeastern University is great for its academic offerings, faculty, and vibrant campus life. However, like any institution, there are areas where improvements could enhance the overall student experience. Prospective and current students are encouraged to provide feedback and participate in university initiatives to help drive positive changes.
