Rescheduling removes a MAJOR hindrance in 280E and the world will start to see how good these companies really are. Congratulations to Qualla Enterprises, LLC and the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians for opening North Carolina's first dispensary today!The press has reported on the tremendous education, legal and regulatory undertaking by the tribal government to ensure a safe rollout of medicinal cannabis. What is less visible is the multi-year effort to build infrastructure, train expert staff in cultivation, harvest, product manufacturing and retail, and to produce high quality cannabis from seed-to-sale.
